Trimming a Canary Island Date palm and shaping the trunk's collar is a highly specialized operation which takes many years of practice to perfect.

Palm Transplanters proudly boasts Australia's most experienced trimmer whose quality finish has been internationally acclaimed.

In addition to the standard collar we now offer the "wine glass" collar which is becoming increasingly popular.

Removing a palm is also a highly specialized operation particularly where there is limited space in which to manoeuvre equipment or where underground and overhead services are present.

Once the palm has been successfully removed from its original location, it is loaded onto flat top transporters for the journey to its final destination within Australia.

Palms prepared for export are loaded into shipping containers for destinations as far away as China.
